People shield themselves from the rain during the ceremony for late artist Wojciech Seweryn, a Niles resident who was killed in the Smolensk, Russia air crash which took the lives of ninety-five other passengers including the President of Poland in 2010, at St. Adelbert cemetery on Sunday, September 25, 2011. Seweryn designed and created the Katyn Massacre Monument, located at the entrance to St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
